Gluten Free Foods No Longer Available on NHS Prescription

Following on from national guidelines, a change in the prescribing policy means you will no longer be able to obtain gluten-free foods on NHS prescription. This change comes at a time when gluten-free foods are now widely available in shops, supermarkets and online, manufacturers are changing recipes to avoid using wheat and food labelling has improved to make it easier to see whether ordinary food products are free from gluten and can be safely eaten.
