Vernon Street Surgery is working with 16 other practices to provide a GP extended access service from 4 locations in Derby Chaddesden, Normanton, Allenton,  Spondon and Allestree.

Together we have formed a Community Interest company called Primary Care Plus. To better support the needs of our patient population.

We operate 7 days a week,   Monday to Friday between the hours of  18.30 – 20.00.  There is no telephone service available during this time.

We offer services on a Saturday and Sunday between  8.00 am to 12 noon (there is no telephone service during this time). We are providing a wide range of services from GP appointments to Advanced Nurse Practitioners appointments, along with a range of clinics for Dressings, Phlebotomy (Blood taking), Smear Clinics,  Long Term condition clinics (Asthma, COPD and Diabetes).

We work closely with Livewell, Derby City Council’s wellbeing service https://www.livewellderby.co.uk/ and together provide ‘Lose Weight Feel Great’ classes, Smoking Cessation.

All appointments can be booked in the usual way through reception at the Practice .
