Home Visits

Doctor's bagFor patients who are bed-bound or palliative and who cannot attend the surgery. Home visits requests should be telephoned before 10:30 am.

Please remember that there are increasing pressures on Drs time and that we may be able to offer you a more timely assessment if you come to surgery. Drs can often see three or four patients in surgery in the time that it takes to do a single home visit.

The GP dealing with your health needs may telephone you to discuss appropriate methods of dealing with the situation.

Any urgent visit requests after 10.30 will be dealt with by the duty doctor as appropriate.
